Welcome to Forest Lake!
COMMUNITY. CHRIST. CALLING.
Forest Lake seeks to be a safe harbor in an uncertain world, welcoming all with open arms. We celebrate our differences and encourage questions and searching, while striving for unity within the church, community, and the world. We take seriously the charge to love one another as ourselves through service and striving for social justice.
At Forest Lake,
We welcome and affirm all people, especially those who may not believe our story,
We honor scripture through honest, critical study of the Bible,
We side with the under-resourced, the oppressed, and the left out,
We stand for justice, even when it’s unpopular.
We work within our local community to show the love of God through acts of service and social justice.
Forest Lake seeks to transform our world into God’s kingdom.
Building relationships with people both inside and outside the church. Sharing love that might eventually lead someone to follow Christ.
Helping people discover their God-given gifts and use them to serve others. Through calling, people mature in their likeness of Christ.

The COVID-19 Pandemic required all of us to make changes to our routines so we could continue to connect with others, even while we protect one another through social distancing.
One way that Forest Lake UMC responded to the call to social distancing as an act of Christian love was by developing ways to join Traditional Worship from anywhere in the world!
Join us for worship, live or at a later time that works for you!
We'd love to hear from you!
