Disciple: A Short-Term Bible Study - Invitation to John MIDWEEK CLASSES FOR SPRING QUARTER Teacher: Rev. James Haskins Room: 104 The Gospel of John is unique in its content of Jesus speaking in long discourses rather than in parables as in the other Gospels. Join this study, already in progress, and learn from the video segment and Bible study and discussion. This group meets in the Aldersgate Classroom, room 104, at 6:30 p.m. Issues and Answers - A Voters Guide to Major Issues Teacher: Guest Speakers Room: 102 As Christians we are called to be good citizens. This quarter, guest speakers will be discussing the major issues facing voters this year. Jeanette Vandermeer, Assistant Professor in the Capstone College of Nursing, will discuss health care issues. She will present positions of all three presidential candidates. The following weeks will be discussions on the economy, immigration, education and energy. The issues will be discussed by experts in each field in a non-partisan format. We hope to present all three candidates' positions on each subject.
